not ever judging, observing with an open heart. Jen has this thing that made me want to show up and say, “prove it”. She gets to the bottom with each person and climbs out with them. She makes people feel like a piece of the sober them is still there.”

who was an addict, to housing. She doesn’t give up and puts her heart and sweat into this community every day. Humankind is literally out on the streets with some of the most forgotten. My own son had such a bad infection in his legs from the drugs that it caused some of the tissue to die. Jennifer never said a word about the smell that kind of infection causes. She welcomed him with a smile every day. My son felt cared about. He was comfortable talking to her because he trusted her. Jennifer is a true street advocate and is right there in the thick of this epidemic of drugs, mental illness, and homelessness. I will be forever grateful to Jennifer. She literally contributed to saving his life.”
